story of two ladies from different society

This was my first posting. After my college exam one of my relative offered me a small job but good money and away from my home. I immediately agreed and convinced my parents that i will prepare for my UPSC exam from there only . i moved and joined ...
this was a small village nearly 250 miles away from my home town. when i reached there i was surprised and worried too. My job was to collect milk cream and test and dispatch to my principals for making butter and canned ghee. people from all villages nearby used to bring their consignment on bullock cart or tyre gaddi or tractor to our collection centre and i along with my junior used to check and if found usable then send it to my back office by truck which used to come every week .job was simple but life was monotonous , no evening stroll, no addabaji at Mahavira temple and no outing in evening.
shahid was my junior ,a local boy read up to class eight. he could not pursue further as nobody was in his family agreed to bear expenses for his school exam. i told you work with me and money you get use in completing his education.
he used to bring food for me from a small dhaba 6 km away from my village, later i came to know this was coming from his house and money he used to give his mother. but food was good only when i used to eat it was cold. so i bought a kerosene stove and used to warm before I eat. my mom has taught me to make few thing like chapati, boil egg, and tea . so you can understand what expertise i had?
life was going on.
for company my neighbour was a Muslim gentle man Mr S M Murtaza junior engineer in electricity board , nearly 32 years old, having a Bullet motorcycle and we used to share this newly built house together, two room with kitchen and myself one room and a small kitchenette type room. we have common courtyard but I was not going there since murtaza family stayed there. I had a bathroom which has two door one opening to my side another to murtaza side.toilet was separate. this was huge campus. there was a milk factory which was started by a rich maithil but subsequently purchased by a rich marwari from Delhi. he sent his young son to this place to take care and start business again, but latter on he understood nothing can be done here hence he leased it to company collecting cream from nearby villages. this was near to Nepal border.
Mr Murtaza job was to erect electric poles in villages and get it connected to main transformer . he was a very good and reliable employee.he was always away from home for three four days, sometimes even for a week but his family stayed in campus. it was a very safe place. after 4 Pm main gate was closed and nobody was supposed to come inside.a small gate was made for security guard and remaining staff to go back home. shahid was last person to leave and my job was to go and lock from inside.guard also left at around 7.00 PM to his house nearby around half km from our mill compound.
i had carried a small radio and used to listen old music on vividh bharti
